Over 10,000 families have been through our program, The Elite Competitor Academy, and there's a reason why that many families trust this program as the mental training resource that their athletes need to play their best and build mental strength. And if you're one of the families that's interested in joining us inside the academy, this episode is for you. Maybe you were on a free training with me, and you're wondering a little bit about what the academy actually looks like, how it works, how your daughter actually gets results, who it's for, all of the things. So I will be doing a full reveal of what the academy is, everything that's included, how it works, how your daughter gets results. So stick around because this will answer all those lingering questions that you might have about what this is. Let's get into it. So the Elite Competitor Academy is our flagship mental training program for girl athletes aged 12 to 18 years old. So high school, middle school age. And it's built to do two things kind of at the same time. It teaches athletes the mental skills that they need to bounce back from mistakes instead of carrying them for the whole game, confidence that doesn't fall apart in seconds after something goes wrong, and it teaches you, the parent, exactly how to support your athlete daughter. Because what we have found, and our program has been around for about eight years, what we found in the beginning was that just working with athletes on the mental side of their game was enormous. It was amazing. We would see them getting results Within the first week of using these tools. But we found that there were a lot of parents who were lost on how to support them, and unintentionally undoing some of the work that athletes were doing on their own mental game. So we actually built out a full track for the parents inside the Elite Competitor Academy so that you have the skills, the scripts, the strategies, what to do when you encounter things with your athlete, like politics or favoritism or when she's losing motivation. All of that is built in for you so that this works together seamlessly. And that's also why our mental training approach is different. We are different than what you might find in this mental training, mental toughness space because we believe a few things number one, that you should be involved in this journey. You already are, and oftentimes we have no idea as parents how to actually support in those moments that matter most. So we believe that you need to be equipped with the skills. That's why we include it. Number two, we believe athletes should enjoy their sport, and the Elite Competitor Academy gives them the tools to be able to actually do that. Because at a certain point, sometimes athletes get this message that their sport is their job and it should be a grind. And yes, sometimes it is, but then the joy is stripped away from it. And we know that athletes, especially girl athletes, who enjoy their sport, stay in their sport longer, and we need that to happen. Girls are quitting sports at twice the rate of boys, and some of that is because they just do not enjoy the sport any longer because of the pressure associated with it. And that's not because they just don't have personalities that can handle it. It's because girls have a different standard that is expected from them, especially in sport. And we actually help them with the tools to be able to navigate the normal parts of being an athlete. The pressure, the comparison, the nerves, like, all of those things that can cause athletes to walk away because they feel like something is wrong with them. And we actually give them tools rooted in sports psychology that college athletes and professional athletes use, but at an age where they can actually use them to change the trajectory of their sports career. So we believe those two things fundamentally need to be a part of your daughter's training. And really that's the whole promise. When your daughter starts learning these skills and she's in the academy with us, with our coaches, with the other athletes, she starts playing with confidence and joy again, and you are relieved knowing you know how to help instead of guessing every single time. Let's get into what the academy actually looks like. So when she joins, what are the first steps? What, what happens? Well, when she joins, we actually intentionally have the first step be for her to come on a welcome call with me or with Coach Saylor, who is our head athlete coach inside our program. And on this call, this is a really easy way for her to get bought in and excited about the idea of mental training. 'Cause sometimes it's a little bit tricky to bring it up as a parent, like, how do I, approach her about this without making her feel worse about herself or making her think that I think something's wrong with her? That's a common concern, and we actually have resources to help you with that, what to say, how to bring it up, things like that. But if you get her to this welcome call, I take it from there. I do the heavy lifting. I show her examples of other athletes who have done this work, other athletes who have gone on to play at high levels who have used this program. I help them see that this actually gives them a competitive advantage, that nothing is wrong with them. By the end of that call, we have parents that are texting us saying, "Oh my gosh, my daughter loves this. She's ready to get going. She just downloaded the app." So really I take care a lot of the heavy lifting. You just need to get her to the call. And again, if you need help with that, totally normal. I will actually link a resource for you below that helps you bring up the idea of mental training or the academy in a way that is helpful and won't cause her to shut down. So once she joins the program, she can start it right away, but we find our welcome call to be helpful. But when she actually starts doing the work what she does is she logs in via our app or a web browser. She can do both. She can do either. I find the app really helpful if she does have a phone or an iPad Cause it's a very athlete-friendly way to do this on the go. But the browser works just as well. So she logs in, and when she gets into her portal, she'll see the program laid out for her. It's very simple. She starts in the warmup section, and it starts off with a quiz that she can take, and then she gets going with the trainings. And the trainings are short. They're between 3 and 15 minutes long. They're from me. They give her an actionable tool that she can use in her next practice, in her next training session, or her next game. And then I'm coaching her inside her portal. So she is responding inside the portal, and I am responding back to her. And as she goes through these trainings, she is improving her mental game. So she uses these things, and then she reports back on how they're going for her, and the program just moves her along, training after training. We recommend the athlete spend 30 minutes a week using the program, and that is a minimum. We say you can do this one day a week. Just think of it like you're going to the mind gym. You know, you go to the court to practice your physical skills. You go to the weight room to get faster and stronger. You go to the mind gym, go inside The Elite Competitor Academy portal, and that is where you work on your mental strength, and you build those mental game reps. So 30 minutes a week. Athletes can also do it daily if they'd like, so five minutes a day. And I frame it to athletes inside that welcome call. I say, "If I were to tell you that you could do something for 30 minutes a week or five minutes a day that would make you a better athlete, put you above your competition, and give you a competitive edge, would you do it?" Every single one of these athletes is like, "Uh, yes, I would. Please sign me up." And I'm like, "Oh, good news. You're already signed up. Okay, here we go." Now at that pace, they're going to see results within the first week. Within the first week, they are learning something called their snapback routine to help them get over mistakes fast. We intentionally put that at the beginning of the program as well because it helps give them a very tangible way to get over mistakes without letting it spiral two, two, three, four more, and they can use it immediately and they continue to log in and use the program as they go throughout their sports season. They can use it for their entire season. The content in there is designed to be repeatable, but it's also designed to grow with her. There's enough content in the program to get athletes through about a three-month season if they're going at 30 minutes a week. But we have intentionally designed this to grow with them through season after season and in their off-season. So we have an off-season training section in there. We have tryout prep section in there as well. And we design phase two, once they get in, to be repeated every new sports season. So whether she's transitioning from high school to club ball, to a different sport, we tell them go back to phase two because that is where they build their daily mindset routine. This is their anchor, and they need to do that every new sports season so we have athletes who are using this program year after year to bring them to be a companion alongside their high school sports career and into college. So that is kind of how the layout works. Now, you as a parent also do the same thing. You have your own login. You can log in via an app, via the web browser, and you can listen to your trainings like a podcast in the car, um, listen to them in the background. But these are just really short trainings to help you know how to best support your athlete, plus there are scripts in there and situational advice so that whenever you're coming up against things like, you know, tough teammates, tough coaches, what do you do in those situations? And we have got you. So that is how the core part of the Elite Competitor Academy works. Athletes are logging in, and they are doing their program 30 minutes a week or doing something about five minutes a day. Now, one other part of the program that is really cool is that athletes get live coaching and support when athletes join the Elite Competitor Academy, they get their first month of Elite Competitor Premier for free. This is our live coaching aspect to the program. Because the trainings themselves are great. This is what gives your athlete the transformation. These are the same sports psychology skills that the best athletes use in college, professional athletes, things to help her get over mistakes quick, things to help her with pre-game nerves, her pre-game routine so that she is performing consistently, her post-competition routine, her self-talk how to get over comparison, perfectionism. Like, all of these are foundational tools and skills that all athletes need in order to have a strong mental game, and that is what is inside the academy. Now, the live coaching element is another layer that just takes things a bit deeper, which is really fun. So Elite Competitor Premier gives your athlete access to our private athlete community. This is where the athletes are hanging out. So we are posting a mental game tip in there every single week. Athletes are sharing their wins, they're asking questions. We do fun challenges in there as well. The other thing that happens inside Premier is that athletes can come to our live calls two times a month. So we host these on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. The first call of the month, we do a little mindset tip, and we split by age to do Q&A. And then the second call of the month, we bring in a guest expert. So we bring in a college athlete, an Olympic athlete, nutritionist who can talk about how to fuel appropriately for their sport. And these guest experts just pour into them in a different way so that athletes can not only see what it's like to compete at the next level, but also what it takes, to be a really well-rounded, competitive athlete. So these calls are really fun for athletes to be a part of. The other cool thing is that athletes inside Elite Competitor Premier get paired with one of our coaches either me or Coach Saylor for coach on-call texting. So they can reach out to us at any time for support, for advice, for questions. We're also checking in with them periodically to see how things are going. And it's really great for athletes just to have that lifeline. It's us on the other side of that text, so it's not a bot, it's not AI, and athletes love it because they can just send in quick texts that are like, "Hey, I've got a competition tomorrow. I'm feeling nervous. Do you have any tips?" And we're on the other end helping them out. So Elite Competitor Premier is that live coaching layer, and all athletes inside the Elite Competitor Academy get their first month for free inside Elite Competitor Premier. So that gives them access to the private community, two times a month live calls, plus coach on-call texting with Saylor or I. So she gets paired with one of us. Now that's kind of the structure of how the Elite Competitor Academy works. We have her portal or her app that she logs into, and she does these short trainings. Athletes love these also because they work around their schedule. She can also pop in her AirPods and just listen to the visualizations that we've pulled out for her in there, and it's just a great support for her to be able to have the foundations of what a strong mental game is. In addition to that, athletes get support within the Elite Competitor Premier, which her first month inside there is for free, and that gives her access to the live coaching, live calls, and coach on-call texting. Now, I could tell you all day that this works, but let me show you instead real families who have been inside the Elite Competitor Academy and have experienced results. So Holly, mom to Sienna, she is a high school basketball player. Her mom would say that Sienna used to let one bad play take over, like, the entire game. She would get visibly upset. She would be really hard to watch from the stands, and I know you've been in that situation before as a parent where you kind of see her body language change, and you're like, "Okay, here we go." And after Sienna joined the Elite Competitor Academy, her mom said within the first couple of weeks, after she was learning her snapback routine and a way to manage those pregame nerves, she said now she actually is the one that people turn to, her teammates turn to, to calm the team, and the other girls look to her when things go sideways. And Holly's words were, "You can just see it now in how she plays so differently." Now Colleen, kind of a similar story. Mom to Amelia, who is a volleyball player. Colleen said her struggle was that she didn't know how to talk to Amelia after a bad game without sounding like the parent that nags or just is, like, saying everything wrong or piling on pressure. And after Colleen and Amelia joined the academy, Colleen said now she has real scripts to use instead. She's like, "Now I know how to show up differently." And Amelia said, "I also know that she knows how to support me. I can look up in the stands now and feel like I actually have her support without her guessing." Amelia herself also learned skills to be able to show up as a leader for her team and that type of player that doesn't crack under pressure. Now I wanna tell you about Nathan as well. Nathan is a girl dad through and through. He has five daughters now his oldest daughter Presley is playing in college right now, but when she was in the academy she was a high school basketball player And he said that her confidence showed up in places even beyond the court, like in her academics, in her friendships, how she carried herself at home, and that is the part that he was most excited about, in addition to the state championship that Presley won her senior season because she was able to have these skills to use under pressure. All right, let's talk about some common questions that I get about The Elite Competitor Academy, and then I'll give you what our current pricing special is right now, because at the time of this recording, we are in a fall enrollment special, so I want to make sure you have all those details. But one question, what if I have more than one athlete? Good news, The Elite Competitor Academy is good for your entire household. So one price Everyone gets their own login at no extra cost. And the same goes for Elite Competitor Premier. One price is good for your entire household. That leads me to another question is what about boys, right? What about boy athletes? Maybe you have some in your family. And while we have designed the program with girl athletes in mind, specifically high school girl athletes, we do have boys who come through the program because our trainings and our visualizations are actually gender neutral. We also have a boys, uh, section inside the Elite Competitor Academy that is recorded and, put on by my husband, Coach Brett who is a teacher, he's also a head coach. He's trained in our strategies, and so he has recorded a boys' boot camp section to kind of lean in more to the things that boy athletes face in their sport. The next question I get very often is, what age is this good for? So high school girl athletes is what we have designed the program for, but very appropriate for middle school athletes as well. The youngest we've had in the program is about 12, and that is the age where we see athletes are kind of understanding the impact of their mindset on how they show up and how they play. Now, if you do have an athlete on the younger end, and she's competitive, and she's experiencing some of the things that we've talked about in our trainings one thing I recommend is that you can just kind of build this into your week and do it together. You can say, "Hey, on Sundays at 4:00 PM, we're gonna go to a coffee shop, and we're gonna do this. I'm gonna do my side, you're gonna do your side, and we're gonna connect." Or you can both do the athlete side and just kind of make sure that she's tracking. But high school girl athletes is what the program is designed for. But we've had, um, a little bit younger than that. Definitely middle school athletes have come through, and we have college athletes in the program. Okay, how about different sports? So I, I get asked a lot, is this just for team sports? Is it just for, um, you know, this specific sport? No, it's not. It is for all sports. It is for all types of athletes who compete in an individual sport, a team sport, non-traditional sports. We've also had athletes who join who are in, like, mock trial Or some of these non-traditional sports like archery or barrel racing because it's all performance-based. And what you think and your athlete's image of herself is what sets her ceiling on what she is capable of. So we've had tennis athletes, golf athletes. You name a sport, we probably have had an athlete inside the program who has played that sport Another common question I get asked is how long does it take to go through the program? How long does it take to get results? Like I already said, within the first week, you're going to see changes. Your daughter's going to learn the snapback routine, which is one of the most tangible tools that she can use to get over mistakes fast. You're gonna see her body language change. You're gonna see her a little more confident, um, maybe a little more happy playing her sport. As she continues the training, she's only gonna learn more. But within the first week, you're going to see some changes. And as far as how long it takes to get through the program, I think of this like her sport. She learns how to dribble, pass, shoot, whatever the skills are in her sport, but she doesn't just learn them one time. She has to practice those reps. She has to practice dribbling. She has to practice passing every single day. That is the same with mental skills. She's going to be learning these skills, but we have it built in where she is getting reps every single week. So she learns the skill, but then, because the program is designed to be with her as long as she's competing, she is going to be practicing these skills on a day-to-day basis. So in phase two, as I mentioned, she learns her daily mindset routine. We call this the 3, 2, 1 Brave. This is her anchor. She does this every day that she practices, every day that she competes, and these are her mental reps. It's a combination of some things that she does in her notebook and a visualization. And it's not just a one-and-done thing. We have to work on our mindset every single day. We're thinking every single day. And so that is why This is not just a, "Okay, we're gonna learn this one time, and then, and then we're gonna move on." You don't just learn how to shoot one time and then move on. You practice it. So that is what this program is designed to help her with, and that's what the content is designed to help her with as well Okay, let's talk about price and the discount that we have going on right now for our fall enrollment special. So the full price of the program is 1997, and we have some payment options for that. However, right now, during this fall enrollment special, we have a 50% discount, and that is good until October 2nd. So 50% off brings that down to 997 or three payments of 359 both give you immediate access to the program. We also have a 14-day money-back guarantee, and we have that by design as well. You can jump in, have your daughter come to a welcome call, get started with the program, kinda see how she takes to it. We guarantee that within 14 days she's gonna start to see some changes. And if she comes to a welcome call, that is one really easy way to help her understand what the program is about and get her excited about it. And I know for some of you, that number might be the thing that you're considering, and that's totally fair. Every family has to decide where they invest. But what we already know is that you're investing a lot in the physical side of her sport, the travel, the training, the gear, the club team, whatever it is, and this is the piece that actually determines whether or not she's gonna use any of that when the pressure is on. And these are the skills that she keeps long after the season ends. These transfer into her academics. They transfer into her friendships, her future. Like, your mindset, her mindset, what she thinks about herself, her self-image, is the thing that will carry her through the rest of her life. So we consider this investment something that is a non-negotiable, because it's actually what unlocks everything else. And the other thing about it that I get asked a lot is, "Well, how do I bring this up to my athlete? How do I make sure she doesn't shut down?" And I will link some resources below that will help. We've actually created a whole page about this with some conversation starters, with some resources like a quiz and some videos that you can send to her. But the other part about it is you don't need her enthusiastic yes to move forward. There are things that you have your daughter do, and there's things that I have my athletes do as a coach they don't like all the time, right? They don't always like going to school. They don't always like doing math. My athletes don't always like doing conditioning. But that's okay. I'm not waiting around for them to be like, "Yes, I wanna do conditioning," for me to have them do it, because I see the bigger picture. I know that they need to condition in order to get better at their sport. It's kinda the same thing with this. You don't need her enthusiastic yes to move forward. This is one of those things that's like math, like conditioning, like going to school, that you know she needs and you know will benefit her well beyond her sport. And sometimes we just, as parents, need to understand that's our role, to provide the opportunity for her to do this. Now, I also will say that 90% of athletes who actually get in and understand what this is are like, "Oh, my gosh. This is amazing," including my own athletes who I coach. We've won four state championships, and every single one of those athletes, if you were to talk to them, they will tell you that we would have not been able to do that and compete and win at that level if we hadn't worked on our mindset. We just the other night had a big five-set win, against a rival team, and same thing showed up. When it got tough, our mindset is what pulled us through. So those are the skills that actually show up when you're like, "Oh, my gosh, I'm watching her play out there, and she can physically do it, but what's going on mentally?" This is what solves that problem. So all the details are below, the ideas of how to bring it up to her if you need help with that, the discount that gives you 50% off the Elite Competitor Academy, plus the bonus of one free month inside our live coaching aspect, Elite Competitor Premiere, which gives her access to the athlete community, two times a month live coaching calls, and the coach on-call texting. So if you have any other questions, you can email us at hello@elitecompetitor.com, or you can comment below with any questions that you have. We would love to see you and your family inside the Elite Competitor Academy.
