If your daughter spirals after mistakes, if you have ever sat in the bleachers and watched her thinking, I wish I knew how to help her, or if you're tired of watching her beat herself up, when you know she's so much better than that, then this video is for you. I am pulling back the curtain on the Elite Mental game. This is our signature mental training program. That over 5,000 families have trusted to build their girl athlete's mental game. I'm gonna show you exactly what this program is, how it works, who it's for, answer the questions I get asked most like, what age is this best for? Will my daughter actually do this? Is it worth the investment? So if you've been curious about EMG or you're thinking about enrolling during our winter enrollment special that's happening right now through January 30th, this is the behind the scenes look that you need to know. All about the program, so let's dive in. What is Elite Mental Game or EMG? It is not another camp, another skills clinic, a motivational pep talk where I tell girls to just be confident. That's not what it is at all. It is a complete mental training system rooted in sports psychology. It is designed specifically for girl athletes aged 11 to 18. Now we've had younger and we also have athletes in college, but that's our typical age range. And it teaches athletes how to bounce back from mistakes, perform under pressure, build the kind of kind of confidence that lasts way beyond sports. All of these skills that we want for our athletes that transfer beyond sports, but they're not typically taught these mental training skills. Even though everybody says 90% of sports is mental and 10% is physical. What are we doing to work on the mental side? And it's not necessarily your coach's fault or her, your her coach's fault. It's that most coaches are not trained in how to teach this, even though they do expect your athlete to be mentally tough to come back from mistakes to deal with the pressure. But they're not, they're not well equipped, equipped to know how to teach this. So this bridges that gap and here's what makes it a little bit different. Our approach to mental training is different than what you're gonna find in a lot of this like mental toughness space. This no pain, no gain. Kind of like male dominated. System. Okay. We actually coach both the parent and the athlete. So parents, you have your own program to go through because we know that you play a big part in this equation. We can't have your daughter learning these skills and then you don't know actually how to support her best. So after coaching high school volleyball for the past 14 seasons and winning four state championships, I've learned that. The missing piece wasn't just teaching athletes these skills, it was also teaching the parents how to support them and not unintentionally lower their confidence based on what they're saying or not saying. Okay. And why this really matters is that, you know, you can teach a girl a snapback routine all day long, or an athlete all day long, right? But if she goes home and then parent is accidentally reinforcing the exact opposite with her words, then nothing really sticks. Okay. So how it works is your daughter gets her side of the program. I'll tell you kind of how easy and simple it is. We have an app that she goes through. She learns mental skills, she learns the routines, self-talk strategies, visualization techniques. All of these things that build her mental game, and then you get your side of the program too. You learn what to say, when to say it, when to stay quiet, when to let her lead, all of the things that you encounter as a sports parent. Okay? You're not sending your daughter off to just do this alone and hoping that it clicks. You're both kind of learning together, but in your own lanes so you can actually. Support her the way that she needs, which is the power of the elite mental game. So let's get into like how it actually works. So when you enroll in EMG, both you and your daughter and anybody else in your household, so um, a partner or a spouse or any other kids that you have, any other athletes in your household get their own access to their training portal. And the question I get all the time is. What about boys? Now, although we primarily work with girl athletes, our program is gender neutral in the training and in the visualizations. We do have images of girl athletes throughout the training. Um, so as long as your son is okay with that, the strategies absolutely apply to boy athletes. The other cool thing though is that with the boy athletes who are in EMG. We run a live six week bootcamp every quarter. Um, that is led by my husband, who is trained in our methods. He works in our company as well, and he's also a teacher. He was a head football coach. He is a track coach, and so he works with athletes all the time. And so every quarter we do a six week live bootcamp for the boys and we give all of the boys inside EMGA free ticket to that. So there is an option for them as well. But everything inside the core content of EMG where they log in via the app or any sort of web browser is self-paced. So she can go through it during the season and the off season. Whatever works for your family schedule. Really, it doesn't matter if it's in season or off season. We recommend it at any time in season. She gets like real time opportunities to practice her skills, but off season is great too because then she's building the foundation and likely she's not just not doing anything right. She's probably still training in the off season. And she can apply these skills to those things, and then she's ready to go when season starts. So there's really no getting behind. You have lifetime access to, um, the athlete content, and we actually recommend that athletes go through. There's five phases to the program. We, we want them to go through phase two at the start of every sports season because I'll tell you kind of what the phases are in a second. But phase two is where she sets her goals for the season. She, um, establishes her daily mindset routine based on those goals. And those things are gonna change from her club season to her school season, you know, and if she plays multiple sports from season to season. Okay. Now there are five phases to the athlete side. We recommend about 30 minutes a week to work on this. We tell athletes that you don't need to spend as much time on the mental game as you do the physical game. Like a little bit goes a long way. We recommend putting on the calendar. One day a week, 30 minutes, log in, do your EMG, follow the app. Um, or if, if an athlete likes to kind of have the routine of doing something every day, like five to 10 minutes a day is great, do it on the way to a tournament. Okay? And so in the warmup section, she really gets bought into mental training right away. We have her do this fun quiz. Some of your, um, athletes, maybe you've already taken that quiz. She gets excited because we really frame this as this is her competitive advantage. There's nothing wrong with her. Um, because this is what gives athletes an edge and is really their secret sauce. And most athletes are not taught these skills and she's at an advantage because she gets to learn them. In phase one, she learns her snapback routine. Um, this is one of the most powerful tools in the program. She learns her custom routine to help her come back from mistakes or setbacks in seconds in a game. So instead of spiraling, instead of like, you know, turning her back, hanging her head, she now can come back with confidence. It is, um, a two second routine. And she develops her custom reset word, reset signal that, um, helps her in those moments. Phase two of the program is her elite mental game foundations. This is where she learns the mental training that professionals use, right? Visualization, breath work, goal setting, self-talk, all of those like core tools to build her confidence from the inside out, but in a way that's digestible for middle school and high school athletes. A side note, I was a teacher for 10 years. I taught high school. And so these, these little trainings are not boring. They're short because I know I'm competing with TikTok and the, you know, all the attention that we seem to lack right now. Um, but they're fun. They're interactive. She has a way to implement what she's learning. Right away in her practice, in her game, in her competition. And she comments with me in the portal. So every single training, she gets a little prompt that she comments right there in the portal, and then I'm in there every single day commenting back to her in coaching. Her phase three is her high performance game plan. This is where she kind of puts it all together. She learns pre-game routine, so she's ready to compete. She learns to adapt when things go wrong. During competition, she creates a post game routine. She can fairly assess her performance without beating herself up. And yes, this makes the car rides home. So much better, right? So this is, uh, one of the most game changing parts of the program too, is like now we're not having to like go through this. We can't even go out to dinner because she's in a bad mood in the car, in, in the car, on the ride home. All right? Phase four is her mental edge toolkit. This is how to handle things like comparison. Um, how to be the teammate. People look to how to navigate challenging coaches and, and teammates. How to prevent burnout, um, perfectionism, all of those things that come up in competitive sports. And then phase five is how to keep this momentum going. How to make sure that these skills stick through the off season through tryout prep, how to handle new opportunities or disappointments and how to keep these tools from season, season to season. The training format is very simple. Like I said, each training video is just. Three to like, I think the, the, the maximum is like 15 minutes. Okay. She can do that on her phone, on her iPad, in the car before bed. It's bite-sized. It's flexible and it works. Okay. Now the parent side of it, you get to learn. So much of what you need to be the sports parent that you want to be. Okay. And these are skills that a lot of parents that come in, they're like, I wish I would've learned this. Like when my daughter first started playing sports, I would've not said that or I would've changed my approach. And you get to learn our love approach. Um, LOVE. This is like our, our framework for post competition. You get to learn kind of foundations of what it means to be a sports parent that actually allows your athlete to thrive how to not get in the way of your kid's sports journey. And you get access to our private community as well as a. Parent now. Our winter enrollment special of the program. It's kind of cool. You get 50% off the program, so that 50% is good until January 30th, but you also get three free months of what's called our Level Up Club for free. And what that means is that your daughter gets live coaching from me and from our other athlete coach in the program, coach Sailor. Now what I, what parents really love about this is that the core content of EMG is something that she can come back to all the time. Um, it's self-paced. She can do it on her own time. Uh, it works around her schedule really well, but a lot of parents are like, okay, but does she get coached by you? And yes, she does in the portal, but she actually, um, gets to come on live calls with me. I get to coach and this is what Level Up Club really, um, really does for your athlete is it connects her with me and with Coach Saylor. So it's real support, not just the self-paced trainings. Okay. So Level Up Club includes two athlete calls every month. We get together, um, on the second and the fourth Sundays of the month. That first call, we actually do a little mindset tip, and then we split by age and we do q and a. So that's really, really great. Athletes are, they can listen, they don't have to participate. Um, you know, they can, they don't have to have their video on, they can participate in the chat, they can just listen. Um, but I will tell you that most athletes are. Engaged and they're asking amazing questions. These are 45 minute calls and we are like up to the 45 minute time answering questions. And the second call of the month is fun because we bring in a guest expert. We bring in either an Olympic athlete, a sports dietician, a strength coach, mentor, performance specialist, like uh, college athletes. Your daughter gets to learn from the best and connect with other athletes who are on the same journey. So these calls are really fun two times a month. And then the other part of our Level Up club is that your daughter gets coach on call texting from me and from Coach Taylor. So if she has a phone, we check in with her once a week. We give her a little mental training tip and then we ask her like, how are things going in the program? Do you have any competitions coming up? What's what's coming up for you? And we're there like, she can text us whenever she wants. A lot of athletes just text in are like, Hey, I'm nervous about this competition. Do you have any tips? And we're on the other end. Responding back within 24 hours. So it's not a bot, it's not ai, and you have access to that as well. So you, you know, if your daughter doesn't have a phone, we text you as well and she can use your phone to text us back if she, if you want that feature. Um, but you also have access to our parent coaches, so you can text back on that number and ask any parent question that you have, like. You know, this, this situation happened, how would you handle it? And our parent coaches are simply amazing. They are also, um, mental performance coaches, but they are, they're, they're in the thick of it. Okay. We have Coach Rachel, who has raised two division one athletes who are playing right now. She's been through it all. Um, so she is the primary parent to coach who is on the other end of your, um, on the, the other end of the coach on-call, texting for you as a parent. We have Coach Melinda also in our program who is a mom to three athletes and, um, has also been through so much. So we have tons of support for you as a parent as well. And on the live calls, if you're wondering, we of course record those and upload them to the portal afterwards so that she can access. Those. Okay, so three free months of Level Up Club, uh, is included in the program as well, which is great. You can activate that upon enrollment if you want, or you can delay it. You can be like, nah, we're gonna do that a little bit closer to maybe when her season starts. Um, you can do that anytime within a year of. Enrolling. Okay. The other really cool thing, um, that we do, when your daughter enrolls in the program, uh, the first thing that she actually does is come on a kickoff call with me. So she gets on a group call with the other athletes who are joining and, um, we, I get her excited about mental training and sometimes this is really helpful because I hear a lot from parents that are like, well, what if my daughter won't do this? Like, how do I bring it up to her? And we do have ideas for you. So like it, you know, we have a, a conversation guide with some scripts. We've got some resources for you. But the easiest thing is actually just to get her on that call because once athletes are on the call with me, they see it as like, oh wow, this is really cool and the best athletes do this. And by the time they leave that call, they're like, this is awesome. I'm ready to do it. And we make sure they get added in and all that. It takes the pressure off of you of having to explain all of this. Okay. I know that if we're talking teen and tween athletes, uh, it's that phase of life where. If it's coming from you, it's probably not received as well as if it's coming from somebody else. Okay? So that's why we do that kickoff call, and it's about 30 minutes long and you don't have to convince her of anything. I handle all of it. Um, and that's why we put that as kind of the, the very first thing in the program. Now, if you want to bring the idea of the program up ahead of time. We, like I said, have some resources for you. One of the things that you can have her do is take this cool quiz that we've developed. It's a, what's your competitor style quiz? It's kinda like a personality test, like everybody loves to hear and learn about themselves, so your daughter learns what competitor style she has, but I also gently see mental training along the way. We also have a really cool and shortened YouTube playlist that she can watch of me with some, some short videos that are, that are fast paced and help her understand kind of what mental training is. Um, so basically the whole idea is here. We can do the talking for you, but um, there are some really great scripts inside that conversation guide that I'll link below. Things around connecting it to her goals and how frame framing this as the opportunity for her to have a competitive advantage is, is really the way to go. Okay. All right. Let's talk quick, um, just some questions that I also get from parents. What, who is this for? Like what age range? And as I said earlier, 11 to 18 is typically like the best age range that we see, like the, the most common age range we see. If your daughter's younger. We just kind of recommend that you do the program more with her. Not all of it is going to apply right away, but that's the beauty of lifetime access is that this is gonna grow with her. Plus you get immediate access to the parent side so that you know right away early on in her sports journey what you can be doing as a parent to support her. So do not underestimate your role in all of this. Okay. Um, 11 to 12 is a great starting place, but we have all the way up through high school, college. I will say if your daughter is not doing some sort of mental training, um, and she's in high school and she. You know, wants to make varsity or wants to play at the next level, then she's probably getting passed up by athletes who are, and this really is, um, a tool and a resource for her to be able to have those mental skills that she can use in her sport. Okay. Um, so it's also, the other question I get is like, what about, what about this sport? What about that sport? We all sports? Okay. Team sports, individual sports, non-traditional sports. We also have had athletes like in mock trial and fencing and equestrian, like, you know, anytime she's like performing. Or competing, like she's probably battling thoughts of, you know, self-doubt and, you know, having to deal with setbacks and all of those things. This is really, um, the program that helps her with all of that. So, okay, wrapping this up, our track record, let's talk about it. We've had over 5,000 families go through this program. Athletes from every sport, middle schoolers through high schoolers, and even. Elementary school. But again, I want you to kind of do the program side by side with her introverted athletes. Super outgoing athletes. Um, and it works because we're teaching skills. We're not just teaching motivation. And this is not just for your daughter, it's for you. Like you go through the parent side. You finally feel confident in your parent role. Um. So that you know how to support her. And you can kind of get back to like, why do we have our kids in sports in the first place? Like what, what are we doing all this for? Okay, now let's talk about the investment. You get 50% off right now as we are in our enrollment special until January 30th. And, um, the regular price of EMG is 1997, so 50% off brings that down to 9 97 or three payments of 3 59. We have a a three pay option. I know that's not nothing. Okay. Um, but I will also say that you are already investing probably in club sports, private lessons, tournament, travel gear, like all those things. And the question I want you to ask yourself is, what good is all of that skill training if she can't use it under pressure? Okay. If you, you've spent lots of money on club fees, hundreds of maybe private coaching, driving to tournaments every weekend, you're doing everything you can to help her succeed. But if she can't bounce back from mistakes, if she's beating herself up instead of playing free, then the mental game is holding her back. And all that physical training isn't reaching its full potential. We tell athletes, um, that you need three things in order to be good at your sport. Okay? Not just good. You gotta be, you know, to be great. You need physical training, obviously you gotta go to practice. You need knowledge of your sport, right? You need, like, that's a sport iq, the tactic strategy, and you need mental training. You need all three of these things. It's like a multiplication problem. They all amplify each other, okay? But if you put a zero in it, in any one of those. Then the equation just canceled out. It equals zero. So we can't be super talented, training hard, but have no mental skills. We can't perform under pressure, right? We don't believe in ourselves. Like that will put, that will be your athlete's ceiling. Okay? And so the mental skills that she needs, the elite mental game, gives her that min, that missing. So that she can actually use all the talent that she's building. Okay? And these are not just sports skills, these are life skills. These are confidence skills that she'll use in her sport, but also out the resiliency, handling pressure, advocating for herself, right? All of that transfers to her school's relationship, future jobs, everything. You're not just investing in her sport, you're investing in the kind of woman that she's becoming beyond this. Okay? So, um, if you have other questions about. EMG, um, the enrollment special we have going on, I will say we also have a 14 day money back guarantee on our program. So if you within 14 days don't see any results or you know it's not working, you just email us, we'll give you a refund. So we want you to be able to jump in risk free and know that like we've got you and this program really does work, especially for athletes, um, who are wanting to go the next level, but also ones that, uh, you know, can benefit from having these mental skills. Because I'll tell you right now. I wish I had this. I wish my mom had this. Okay. And I'm sure if you played a sport too, you're like, dang, I wish I had these skills too. That would've made all the difference. Okay. Her mindset will always be her ceiling. She will never outperform her belief about herself. All right. Um, like I said, if you have questions, let's go, uh, go in the comments below. You can also email us at hello@elitecompetitor.com. But to wrap up, um, our winter enrollment special closes on Friday, January. 30th, um, that's when you, when you can see that 50% discount, three free months of Level Up Club. Uh, remember as soon as you enroll, you book a, a kickoff call with me. And so if you, if you join by Friday, Saturday morning, I'll be live with a bunch of athletes who are, um, joining in the program and I cannot wait to meet them. All right, moms, I'm Coach Bree, and I will see you in the next episode of the Raising the Co Competitors podcast.
